The Bend La Pine Schools is pleased to provide this opportunity to listen to Greg Mortenson beginning approximately at 12:45pm on Thursday, February 11th.
This event is the culmination for many Bend-La Pine Schools student and staff have have been studying Afghanistan and Pakistan culture for the last two months. Students have learned about Central Asia and the desire of children there to attend school. Many Bend-La Pine Schools students have had the opportunity to read author Greg Mortenson’s books, including the Three Cups of Tea student version, that are helping to broadened their awareness of world cultures.
